X (Twitter) MCP server

Let Claude, Codex or Cursor schedule X posts with photos or video, cross-post to five more platforms and read impressions and clicks over MCP.

What is the aghost X (Twitter) MCP server?

aghost's X MCP server lets Claude, Codex, Cursor or another MCP client schedule posts on X, with photos or a video, edit them before they publish and read impressions and clicks. One request can post the same update to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads and YouTube, with a shorter caption for X.

Connect it at https://aghost.app/api/mcp. It’s included on every plan.

What your agent can do

  • Schedule a post here and on your other channels in one request, with its own caption for each
  • Edit, reschedule or cancel a post before it publishes
  • Read account and post analytics for the last 7, 30 or 90 days
  • Suggest posting times from the account's history

What it can post

  • Text posts up to 280 characters
  • Up to 4 photos, or one video

JPEG or PNG photos up to 20 MB and MP4 or MOV videos up to 300 MB, scheduled at least 5 minutes ahead.

To connect: An X account.

Ask your agent about X (Twitter)

Supply your own media and links, then review the result in aghost. Scheduled posts publish at their time.

  • Cut it to fit

“Turn this blog post into an X post under 280 characters and schedule it for 2 PM today with the cover image.”
  • Plan the week

“Schedule one post a day on X next week at 1 PM from these notes. Show me all five before scheduling.”
  • Read the numbers

“Which of my X posts this month got the most impressions and link clicks?”

Keep the keys

Agents cannot create API keys, change workspace settings, or connect or disconnect accounts. Revoke a key or an app in Settings → API whenever you’re finished.

What your agent can access

Frequently asked questions

Can my agent post more than 280 characters?

No. X accepts longer posts only from paid accounts, so posts here stay within 280 characters.

Can it post threads?

No. Each scheduled X post is a single post.

Can my agent read or send X DMs?

No. The inbox and DM automations are for Instagram.

Which AI agents can use it?

Claude, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or any MCP client over HTTP. Apps with MCP sign-in need only the URL; other clients send a workspace API key.

How much does it cost?

MCP access is included on every aghost plan, from $29/month, with a 7-day free trial.

Your audience is everywhere. Be there with one post.
